Perinox takes part in a CDTI meeting on industrial innovation and business R&D&I

|

Perinox takes part in a CDTI meeting on funding for business R&D&I projects, industrial innovation and technology development to strengthen industrial competitiveness.

Perinox took part in an information session on international technological cooperation projects and the Innoglobal Feder 2026 call, held in Ciudad Real and promoted by the Centre for the Development of Technology and Innovation (CDTI) on Monday, 1 June 2026.

The meeting focused on funding opportunities for business research, development and innovation projects, as well as on the role of industrial innovation as a key factor in business competitiveness.

The session brought together companies, institutional representatives and stakeholders from the innovation ecosystem to address available support instruments, the development of technology projects and the importance of strengthening collaboration between the business sector, public bodies and specialised technology partners.

For Perinox, participation in this type of forum is aligned with its commitment to R&D&I and technology acceleration, as well as with the development of industrial solutions aimed at improving efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness in production processes.

Industrial innovation to turn knowledge into solutions

Industrial innovation plays a fundamental role in the evolution of companies seeking to optimise processes, reduce consumption, recover valuable resources and move towards more efficient and sustainable production models.

Funding and support programmes for business R&D&I help accelerate the development of new technologies, reduce barriers to innovation and facilitate the implementation of projects with real impact on industry.

However, funding is only one part of the process. For innovation to deliver tangible results, technical knowledge, engineering capabilities, technology validation and industrial scale-up must be effectively connected.

The role of CDTI in supporting business R&D&I

CDTI is one of Spain’s leading organisations supporting business research, development and innovation projects. Its activity contributes to promoting technological development in companies and to channelling funding instruments designed to improve their innovation capacity and competitiveness.

In this framework, meetings between companies, institutions and technology stakeholders are a key tool to identify opportunities, share experience and strengthen the business innovation ecosystem.

The participation of industrial companies and technology partners in these spaces supports knowledge transfer and helps R&D&I developments move towards real applications in production environments.

Perinox as a technology partner in industrial innovation projects

Within the industrial innovation ecosystem, technology partners play an essential role: connecting applied research with the specific needs of industry.

Perinox participates in research, development and innovation initiatives focused on the treatment, valorisation and reuse of industrial fluids, working with different stakeholders from the technology ecosystem to accelerate the development and scale-up of solutions applicable to industrial processes.

The company’s experience in R&D&I projects, including projects supported by organisations such as CDTI, reinforces its role as a technology partner for companies seeking to incorporate new solutions focused on operational efficiency, resource recovery, industrial water reuse and process sustainability.

Technology validation and industrial scale-up

One of the main challenges of industrial innovation is transferring technological developments from research and testing phases to real operating conditions.

In this process, technical validation, controlled testing and scale-up capabilities are essential to reduce risks, optimise process parameters and support decision-making before industrial implementation.

Likewise, the development of pilot plants makes it possible to validate processes, test new technologies and obtain results that can be transferred to final production scale, especially in projects where efficiency, operational safety and process quality are critical factors.

Technology and innovation for a more efficient industry

Industrial innovation applied to production processes requires technologies capable of responding to increasingly demanding challenges in efficiency, sustainability and profitability.

In this field, Perinox develops technological solutions linked to the treatment of industrial fluids, the valorisation of liquid streams and resource optimisation through platforms such as crossflow membrane filtration, advanced separation technologies, industrial water reuse systems and applications based on nanobubbles.

These solutions support the transition towards more efficient processes, with higher value recovery and better alignment with industrial sustainability goals.

Collaboration to accelerate technology transfer

Perinox’s participation in CDTI-related meetings reinforces the importance of collaboration between companies, technology centres, public bodies and specialised partners to promote industrial innovation.

Technology transfer requires not only research, but also validation capabilities, engineering, integration and scale-up. For this reason, collaborative R&D&I projects are essential to transform knowledge into industrial solutions that can reach the market and generate impact in strategic sectors.

Perinox will continue to promote its participation in innovation ecosystems focused on the development of technologies capable of responding to the current and future challenges of industry.
